Chapter 3: Kickstart Coffee

The Kickstart Coffee is a high-performance drink that has a massive impact on your energy and cognitive function. On this diet we want to ditch the carb-heavy breakfast and start our day with fat for fuel. You’ll be sharp and alert straight through until lunch.

✓ 1 tbl MCT-oil (Coconut oil is also OK)
✓ 1 tbl Butter
✓ 2 tbl Collagen
✓ 1 Cup (2dl) of freshly brewed Coffee

Brew a fresh cup of coffee anyway you like. Add up to 1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoons of MCT-Oil. Keep in mind that this stuff is powerful. Start with 1 teaspoon per cup and you can work your way up to 1-2 tablespoons over several days. Add 1-2 tablespoons of grass-fed butter in this mixture also makes the creamiest, most delicious cup of coffee you’ve ever had. Mix it all in a blender for 20-30 seconds until it looks like a foamy latte.
If you experience any “disaster pants” ie diarrhea after consuming this coffee, you might want to lower the amount of MCT’s used. Start slowly, tolerance for MCT’s is known to develop quite fast.
